General Sign up Questions

Is sign up free?

Yes! All of our plans are free until you either install more than one desktop ePOS client or decide to launch your webstore. No credit card is required until you are ready to pay, allowing you build up your AirPOS installation free of charge.
How will I be billed?

AirPOS will bill your credit card or debit card on a monthly basis for the length of time that you stay with us. Essentially our software costs £1 per day (or part day), allowing you the flexibility to scale up or scale down as you see fit at any time. Perfect for seasonal business, pop up shops, events or occasional usage such as door to door sales.
Can I switch plans if I need to?

AirPOS has been designed to be flexible, allowing you to scale up and down in our plans to suit your needs. Need an extra desktop POS client for a limited time? No problem, simply download and install as required and then downgrade when needed. Opening a new store? Again simply download and install the required desktop clients and AirPOS will take care of the billing.
Do any taxes apply?

Yes. If you are a business in the United Kingdom or Northern Ireland then VAT (Value Added Tax) will apply and will be added to your bill. UK VAT is currently set at 20%.

I'm outside of the UK. Can I use AirPOS?

Yes! AirPOS currently supports the following currencies UK Pounds, US Dollars, Australian Dollars, Canadian Dollars, Euro and Japanese Yen. If you are using PayPal to process your online payments all of these currencies are available 'out of the box.' If however you wish to use other payment gateways or merchant services please contact us for assistance.
How does your pricing scale?

At AirPOS we believe in keeping our pricing simple and transparent. For too long ePOS software vendors have hidden excessive costs and charged for obscure features and services, often with no explanation or prior warning. We don't believe in treating our customers that way. AirPOS pricing works as follows:

A single ePOS client is free, forever.

Adding an integrated web store is an extra £50 per month.

Adding additional ePOS terminals or devices to your setup will cost an extra £30 per device, per month up to a maximum of 10, after that we bill you a flat £300 per month for unlimited terminals and devices.
